Miracles and Missions

2018 End of Year Report

So Jesus said to them, “assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20

Miracles & Missions! End of Year Report 2018

Dear Loveland and all of our northern Colorado friends!

We are really excited about all that God has allowed us to do and the lives that have been changed in 2018!

Jesus said to His followers “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” John 20:21 and we believe we are to Live Sent like Christ was sent. Everywhere Jesus went we see Him doing three things:

  • Giving justice to the oppressed,

  • Proclaiming the Gospel (good news) of the Kingdom of God,

  • And having fun with friends. Yes, Jesus had fun.

The Creator of Joy brought joy to the earth and everyone He encountered who knew they needed the Grace of God. So if you are looking for a church that has these core values, then please check us out. We are launching in 2019 and need like-minded Christ followers to help us launch strongly.

JUSTICE

“Mankind, He has told you what is good and what it is the Lord requires of you: to act justly,
to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God.”  Micah 6:8

  • One couple whose husband came down with congestive heart failure and was confined to the house. They were able to keep their house this year because of your gifts!

  • An abandoned baby boy was helped to get a baby bed and special things he needed so his new family could care for him.

  • We were able to do a gift card drive and vehicle for single moms going through hard times and many in the community are participating helping these dear people.

GOSPEL

Jesus said “I must proclaim the good news about the kingdom of God, because I was sent for this purpose.” Luke 4:43

  • Served Gumbo to our neighbors at a movie night.

  • Two Interest parties with many interested.

  • Began small groups with over 40 attending.

  • Partnered with church planting organization to help plant other churches.

  • We are helping persecuted Christians from Asia who get asylum in the USA get assimilated and become citizens in the US by helping a small church who ministers to these.

  • Spoke at two missions conferences on Kingdom expansion, one in Memphis and one in Shreveport. They paid for everything so I could speak. What a big honor!

  • Hope Church in Las Vegas with Pastor Vance Pitman (mega-church of 3,000 on a weekend) invited us to be part of their church planting team this year. They bought us out to Vegas and trained us, equipped us, and encouraged us. We were in a group of 10 church planters and they paid for everything every time – we could not have done it otherwise. It was a huge investment and bigger honor.

FRIENDS & FUN

Proverbs 15:13 A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.

Proverbs 17:22 A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Proverbs 18:24 “One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”

  • Sledding Day! God gave us a big snow and we planned a big sledding day with our neighbors! We had over 75 kids at the peak. They had a blast sledding down a big hill in our neighborhood. Watch the video on our website!

  • Easter Egg Hunt !! Wow!   Close to 400 kids, 800+ people, 400 hotdogs, and 10,000 Easter eggs! A friend of The Well donated a grill so we could cook the 400 hotdogs! We could not have been able to do it without the 60+ volunteers from our neighbors!

  • Halloween / Fall Festival at our house. Wow! We had over 150 friends come by the house!

PLANS FOR 2019!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Proverbs 3:5-6

We are looking to hit 2019 strong!

  • Actively looking for a place to meet in the 25-34 corridor. As much as I love having a party and helping hurting people, I love teaching God’s Word even more and helping people find their connection with God to help them in every area of their lives!

  • Team Building:  We are building teams for church startup.

  • Preview Services:  A preview service is like a soft opening for a business. We will have at least two preview services.

  • Launch weekly worship services.

  • Start additional small group Bible studies in the community.

  • Easter Egg Hunt!

  • Other Fun events!

  • We are going to partner with other local non-profits who serve the community’s low income needs better than we do. They have the in house counselors and case workers to be able to help these families in ways we are not equipped. We are excited about this new partnership because we believe we will be able to help more people with the specific kind of help they need.

  • We are going to be looking for and planning volunteer opportunities for us to be able to serve our community together. We believe in adding value to our communities.
