EIGHT Things the Church is NOT:
- The Bible NEVER describes the church as a building, an organization, a religious institution, a political organization, a group of people better than everyone else, a group exercising control over you, a social club, or a community service organization.
The Bible actually teaches the church is:
- The church is PEOPLE who love and follow Jesus.

The church is people who have a spiritual connection with Jesus and in doing so they have a spiritual connection with other followers of Jesus.

The church is described as the body of Christ that is not bound by walls or denominations.A body is a living organism not an organization. It is described as being the hands and feet of Jesus here on the earth doing the things that He did and He wants done.

Most of the time in the Bible the church is a group of people who live in a certain area, like our area in East Loveland – Johnstown 25-34 area.
